Designed to prevent punctures and increase tire life. The Kenda Krusade tire features a reflective sidewall stripe and Kenda’s K-Shield puncture-resistant tire liner.

Compound Structure
Kenda tyres roll on three different compound constructions: Dual Layer Compound, Dual Tread Compound and Single Tread Compound. During development, every new tire is tested with different compounds to find the one best suited for the tiye’s intended use.
Kenda’s single tread compound construction uses the same compound over the whole tread of the tyre. This construction is found in many road, gravel, commuting and some mountain bike tyres. The characteristics of the compound itself vary between each category – a commuter tyre’s compound will be more durable than a mountain bike compound – or even within the category as Kenda adapts the compound to each tire. A mountain bike tire that is intended to perform well in wet conditions will have a different compound than a tire that is meant to excel in dry conditions. That way you can also be sure to get a tire with a compound that was fine-tuned for that particular tire.
Dual tread compounds use two different compounds. The center of the tread uses a firmer compound to improve rolling resistance and create stronger breaking edges, while the transition area and shoulder of the tire uses a softer compound for increased cornering control and grip. Kenda uses a dual tread compound mostly in mountain bike and gravel tires, but even some road tyes benefit from the dual tread construction.
Kenda’s dual layer tread compound uses a stiff compound as the base with a soft compound laid over the whole tread. The firm bottom layer serves as the foundation for the softer layer to push against, keeping the knobs stable through breaking and cornering while providing plenty of grip. The result is a compound that provides better control and lasts longer than previous versions. The Dual Layer compound is used exclusively in tires with AGC and AEC casing.

Frame
Built tough! All alloy 20″ frame and joined in the middle by 4 bolts for easy shipping. Alloys can be thirty times stronger than pure aluminum, and regularly exceed steel in strength-to-weight ratios. Frame is guaranteed for 10 years, such is the quality of Ryder frames.
The 6061 aluminum alloy is a advantageous because it can resist corrosion, which is its most notable attribute. Aluminum as a whole is not extremely strong. However, this particular one is more resistant to corrosion and places less stress on parts.

The range of a standard 36 volt 10.4 amp hour battery will vary according to conditions such as wind, hills, speed, power level, weight of rider etc. Most people report a range of 50 kilometres or more using the maximum assistance level available.
A 36 volt 15.6 amp hour battery is expected to give a range of 75 kilometres or more. Larger capacity batteries are available as an option.
Ryder Electric Bikes come with a 2-year warranty on the bike and all non-consumable components, including the battery.
The Ryder Bike electric system has waterproof harnessing and is designed to ride even through rain. It is not to be ridden through swollen creeks or rivers.
We recommend the bike has its first service at 3 months and thereafter every 12 months.

We recommend you invest in a car bike rack which is rated for carrying electric bikes. These racks are well designed and some can even be tilted with the bikes on them to enable access to the rear of a car hatchback or doors. Some of these can also be locked on to the tow ball to reduce theft.
All Ryder electric bikes are pedal assist which means you have to pedal to make the bike work. Pedalling is more fun, extends the range of your battery, extends the life of your motor, and extends your own life too. Basically, it is exercise without the stress.
